Warrant Canary covering the Month of May, 2022
This Warrant Canary is late because I was hoping to appeal
the forum's ban on Twitter before publishing it.
This is a Warrant Canary for 1776 Solutions, LLC, Lolcow LLC, and
Mad at the Internet, LLC.
An explanation for what a Warrant Canary is can be found on the EFF:

Throughout June, 4 DMCAs were received from OnlyFans. The agent
has yet to reply to any counter-DMCA or given clarification to how
OnlyFans can submit DMCAs for content they claim in their ToS they
reserve no rights on. I ignore these and remind the agent why.
Mid-month, we endured a DDoS attack that coupled with a network
outage and caused a few days of poor service and downtime. The
network issue is a repeat offender and has been fixed again. The DDoS
attack has stopped because it was ineffective. We should have our
DDoS solution completed soon.
This includes a new 10Gbps router which cost us $1,299.00. It was ordered
earlier this year but received only recently due to shortages. Once
installed, this will improve loading times across all our services.
I will be upgrading our connection from 1Gbps when I can. Thank you
to those who financially support the forum so I can pay for these
very expensive tools and services.
The FBI submitted an Emergency Disclosure Request regarding what they
perceived as a credible threat posted to the forum. It was a voluntary
request. I decide to ask for them to pursue a warrant but I did ban
the user in question. They did not produce a warrant, which surprised
me, because I thought the poster sounded completely unhinged.
CNN contacted me in regards to hosting portions of the recent shooting in
Buffalo, New York. The journo asked why we permitted it. I responded
by saying: "The video originated from Twitch.tv - a subsidiary of Amazon.
I assume, if it's safe to air through through Jeff Bezos's platforms,
it is safe to host." Clare Duffy of CNN decided not to include the full
response in her article about the shooting, despite its brevity.
I received another journalist inquiry from someone trying to remain
anonymous. They claimed it was a positive story. I told the journo
his game of hiding his publication was very obvious, because it must be
some rag he knows I'd never take seriously. He acted indignant and I
made fun of him.
The Kiwi Farms account on Twitter was suspended on May 31st. The
cited reason was "Ban Evasion". They've not responded to my appeal.
My GPG key for these transparency reports expired last month.
I have renewed it for another year.
Take it easy,
Josh
